Creating a healthy relationship for children part 2 by Jay Shetty

Its not what you tell but its about what you make your children feel. Don’t do the type of parenting which your parents followed if in your childhood you didn’t listen to them.

It’s not able the time you spend but it’s about your energy and presence. Be careful with what you make your children feel when you be with them. Introduce then to some people through reading their autobiographies or watching documentaries for your children.

Avoid creating controlling and conflict based environment. When you tell your children to do something tell then the why instead of just telling them to do what you want them to do.

Most important thing is don’t put your own limitations to your children. For example, if you tried to be in media and failed , don’t try to convince your children they can also fail like you. Engage in open conversations with your children

I hope this helped you. Have a great day and days ahead!
