This is a telugu movie in which there is a king named Bimbisara who is arrogant and never shows mercy to anyone but has conquered lost of kingdoms.He even kills a small girl because she talked wrong about him.
Somehow he comes to 2020 era and struggles to see the difference between the world he used to live and the world of 2020 era.
The same small girl whom he killed during his time as king saves him from death in 2020 . The story is about did he become kind after this act performed by the small girl or is he the same arrogant king?
When he comes to the 2020 era he struggles with having shelter, food,etc . During that time a beggar comes and sits near him to eat food. He pushes to beggar away because he a king and beggars shouldn’t sit near him.
During that time a priest see it and asks him , “Why did he push the beggar?”. He replies “that I am Bimbasara , from a kings family and so beggar shouldn’t sit near me”
Priest replies “ You are saying that your from a Kings family but that doesn’t mean you can be rude to anyone. If a king thinks he can do anything instead of being kind because he has conquered many empire that means his ego wins over him. You call let anything win over you but not your ego and if it win’s then you become arrogant and you will be alone with no one to speak with”
This words made Bimbisara think about his life. Then a beautiful song comes and I would like to share meaning of a few line:-
Time is teaching you a life because your ego has won over you and you have become arrogant. You were eating a full meal but now you have no food to eat . You were thirsty for blood but now you are struggling to find even a drop of water to drink. You were a ruthless animal killing people but now are you going to change into a good human?
During that song there is an incident in which two vehicles collide and a pregnant lady falls down and nearby a old women sees her and ask Bimbisara’s help to take her to the hospital . He does it and the old women bring the new born child and keep it in Bimbisara’s hand . In that moment he could understand the use of helping others. For That moment he starts to be a kind person. Isn’t this song telling a message that when your time is over as a successful arrogant person then you will struggle as you were a arrogant person.
During the process of changing into a good person during his sleep , his mind tells him what your thinking is wrong . You were a good person before itself. For which he replies “ Then why did I want to kill my own brother?” His mind tells “ Because he was against you” . He replied “ You don’t need to try to kill people who are against you” And then he asked “ Then why did I kill a priest who was helpful to our kingdom?” His mind told “ Because he cursed you” .Bimbisara told “ I was a bad person so he cursed me and if I was a good person he wouldn’t have cursed me. The mistake is mine not his”. Finally after he changes into a good person in the end he will tell to another person that “ I have won many wars but today is the day I won really because I won against my ego which is my biggest win in my life”
The lesson we need to learn here is “ How much ever you became successful being arrogant will hunt you down and lead to your downfall if you don’t become kind . Otherwise time will teach you a lesson like in this movie how the arrogant king was taught a lesson”.
