One thing which will help you overcome overthinking is using visualisation. One person whom I know did skydiving and he got the offer of doing it only one day before. He did visualisation for the first time he felt sick. Second time he felt anxious. Third time he felt ok. Fourth time he felt ready. Fifth time he felt good. Sixth time he felt trained. When you visualise you feel control. Fear is in the mind. When you train your mind then overcome your fear.Visualisation will help you overcome your overthinking.
