Quality is more important than quantity in friendships. It will proved that people with greater community ,I mean in quality friendships tend to live longer
Write down 4 qualities which you look in your friends
Mine is 1.Trust,2.Fun,3.Meaningful and 4.understanding. Trust because I want someone to be trustable. Fun because I want someone to have fun with me. Meaningful because I want to have meaningful and deep conversations. Understanding because I want someone to understand me.
One person cannot have all 4 qualities. Each friend will have different qualities. Write down 4 friends and which quality they have.
For example , With my friend Ramkumar can have trust. With my friend Jack can be a person with whom i can have fun with. With My friend raj with whom I can have meaningful conversations . With my friend Yokesh I can have him understand me. P.S(all the names i have used in imaginary and not someone I know)
Rank them based on percentage of all 4. For example Ramkumar might have 80 percent trust,50 percent fun, 30 person meaningful conversation and 20 percentage understand and vice verse for others.
You can’t expect blindly but only expect only what they show you to expect. For example if a person is always late, you can’t expect them to be on time always.It’s not about having no expectations or having positive expectations. It’s about having the expectation they show you.But you can’t have a friend with all qualities. But have friends with different qualities.
