Are you owning your mornings??

For many people who are new to inspiration and motivation. This might be a new topic and some may wonder what do u mean by this?

Let me first be clear unless you own your mornings , you can’t own our days, weeks or months or even maybe even years. But I highly recommend to wake up before sunrise or around 6-6:30 am in the morning as i t is proved the person who wakes up early is the most energetic person you can find. This means no social media and also mails in the first hour after you wake up . A study made by scientists reveals that if you see social media in the first hour . You will lose your productivity by 30%!! If you take a look at all top achievers in all generations they had a set of practices to gain momentum and kick start the day very well.

Below are some habits which I personally recommend in the first hour of your day which was followed commonly by most successful people around the world . They are:- 1. Stretching exercises or doing yoga:- It is done to make your body flexible before your start your day and your muscles will become flexible. I personally recomend it to do for 15-25 minutes. 2. Planning your day:- This is the most important and almost every high performer have this habit. Planning their day. From morning till night before they go to sleep . 3. Writing down your goals:- This is the 2nd most important practice which high performers do. Once John Maxwell a legend in the field of personal mastery told” a man without a vision will perish once day”. So write down at least 5-15 goals for the day with alignment with what you need to achieve in your life. 4. Visualizing: – It means you visualizing that the day went really well as you expected. It might be difficult at first but as you practice it will become very easily and 90% will happened as if your start visualizing it . You will start believing in it. 5. Self talk:- Many may wonder what does this mean!! Self talk means talking to yourself loudly telling positive affirmations about yourself. For example, if you are not a good communicator. You must tell yourself that I am a good communicator. This might sound or feel it will help you or also sometime idiotic but practically since I have practiced it . It has helped me and believed it will help anyone. In this you must start telling yourself that you are good in those stuff which you are really not good about. This will give you confidence. 6. Writing in a journal:- This is a practice in which you write down how the day went and what all happened in day before. If you ask anybody who achieved big in life, they would agree that this really helps them a lot. While doing it you will know how you felt and also if you made any mistake your mind will make you a reminder of that mistake and you will know not to commit it again if you accept it and also cherish the moments in which you felt you had great moments in the day. I would personally recommend you to do it as you will be surprised by the learning you would have got from this. 7. Gratitude writing in a journal:- Gratitude generally meaning feeling grateful for all the things we have it in our life. It maybe small things like living in a house in which world in which thousand of people don’t even have a house to live in. Some of mine are:- 1.Having legs, hands, mouth, ears, eyes. You may feel what’s to be grateful in it but my point is God has given me all these where in this world, there are many people who doesn’t have legs or hands. 2.Have food to eat. 3. Having house to live in. and many more. These are basic things which are really gifts but we forget most people don’t even have this gifts. You can create your own gratitude list and if you had created, I would request you to comment below few things in your list. 8.Learning :- This is a very important practice which was followed by 70-80% high performers . This means reading self-help or an autobiography of great people . Or maybe a book which is related to your field of work. The basic idea is if you know more , you will grow if your start following these practices. I promise you that if you follow any 4-5 habits in the first hour of your day. You will feel different and start enjoying your days more and also ultimately will improve your overall happiness and also your productivity. Thank you for reading it. I would love to receive your feedback and also if any habit you followed you can comment below
