There has been a lot of talk about can Kohli can be next Sachin. But I would argue that it is a crime to compare Sachin and Kohli even though he has achieved so much but Sachin has faced the best bowler like Akram,Shane Warne and many others but Kohli has just faced few like Starc, Anderson and few others but even the record against these great bowlers aren’t great. So I would say sachin was tremendous in his era and Virat is tremendous in this era. But one thing which is common between Sachin and Virat is that Sachin couldn’t handle too much pressure in difficult matches but would like to say same is with Virat few times like the World Cup few yrs back and the past Australian Series. So just because even if Virat Achieved what Sachin achieved can’t make him Sachin who played well against all the world class bowlers. So I would as an Indian and Cricket fan love to see Virat achieve or even cross Sachin records. It would not be fair to tell Virat is equal, to Sachin, if legendary bowlers emerge who is equal to bowlers Sachin faced and then if Kohli plays well, then I would agree Kohli is equal to Sachin.

All of us have a tendency to increase greatness after a person has retired or died. Tendulkar was compared with Richards, Bradman and Gavaskar who had to face bowlers more fierce than he faced, and that too with lesser protective gear…so what ever the circumstance any comparison is unfair.
